Ippokampos S.A. is one of the leading companies in marine construction, specializing in the production of fireproof panel systems for ships, as well as interior design and decorative applications for mega-yachts and cruise ships.
When I was approached for the design of their corporate brochure, the objective was clear: to reflect the company’s technical excellence, precision, and premium character through a design that was clean, structured, and easy to navigate.
The visual direction I chose was minimalist and serious, with strong emphasis on clarity and form hierarchy. The existing company logo and corporate blue color had to be integrated seamlessly throughout the design, creating consistency while allowing space for modern layout and expression.
Beyond layout and content structure, format was a key design element. Instead of following the conventional rectangular brochure dimension, I proposed a bold square format (30×30 cm), offering both distinction and functional balance across imagery and text. This creative decision elevated the perceived value of the brochure and aligned perfectly with the brand’s high-end positioning.
