Minimalist movie poster design, for one of my best and favorite movies, the “Edward Scissorhands”

My love for minimalism prompted me to design an alternative poster for the film. My main idea was the “Scissor”, so I initially designed the poster, printed it and then started playing, cutting it with a scissor into pieces. Always starting from the heart, because it was very important in the plot of the film.
About the movie An uncommonly gentle young man, who happens to have scissors for hands, falls in love with a beautiful teenage girl. (IMDb).
