ANIMA SOMA
I was tasked with rebranding and refreshing the visual identity of Anima Soma, a 15-year-old yoga studio. The goal was to modernize its appearance while preserving the essence of its calming, holistic atmosphere.
The Project
Brand Identity, Graphic Design, Print, Website
The design of the logo presented a unique challenge, as I wanted it to stand apart from the typical, overused yoga logos. My aim was to create a logo that felt fresh, original, and minimal, while also carrying a deeper meaning that resonated with the values of yoga.
Through extensive study and research in the field of yoga and its philosophical roots, I found inspiration in the timeless Zen Stones and the Sukhasana posture—a key position in yoga, known for its calming and meditative qualities. The logo, therefore, is based on three Zen stones stacked upon each other, symbolizing balance, tranquility, and the core principles of yoga.
For Anima Soma, I also designed a comprehensive range of corporate materials, including letterheads, envelopes, business cards, promotional flyers, and the website. The website was crafted with a focus on simplicity and user experience, reflecting the serene and mindful ethos of the studio.
Through this project, I aimed to elevate the brand identity of Anima Soma, ensuring it communicates both its traditional roots and its modern, welcoming approach to yoga.
