For Greenpeace’s 2009 campaign, I designed a poster, which was also adapted into a flyer, featuring the slogan ‘BE A PART OF THE ACTION’. I also included ‘Reduce, Reuse, Recycle’ to reinforce the message of sustainability.
The main concept was to engage the viewer directly and make them part of the campaign. The design featured a round sticker with perforation and scissor marks, allowing the viewer to cut it out and place it wherever they wished. Used both as a street poster and as a flyer, this interactive element encouraged active participation, turning the audience into part of the action itself.
I intentionally kept the design very simple so that the viewer could immediately understand both the message and its purpose. I used an almost entirely white background, placing the circular element at the centre and adding only a minimal amount of green as a direct reference to Greenpeace.
