Visual identity and app branding for a proposed Huawei watch face experience.
The Project
Visual Identity, Logo Design, App Branding, Digital Experience
Facemaker was created as a visual identity and app branding concept for a proposed Huawei watch face experience. The project was developed around the idea of personalization within a wearable digital environment, where time becomes both functional and expressive. At its core is a symbol that merges a clock reference with the letter F, creating a simple and memorable mark that connects time, customization and wearable technology.
The wider visual system was designed to support a clean, minimal and accessible digital experience. Beyond the core logo, the project explored how this language could extend across the app icon, splash screen, interface touchpoints and branded digital layouts, giving the app a clear and consistent presence. The supporting graphics, including the watch faces and application layouts presented here, were also created by me to communicate the concept more clearly and demonstrate how the identity could function across the wider product experience.
The standalone application was not released as a separate product, as the company later decided to integrate the feature into the Huawei Health app. As a result, the original concept remained in my archive, while the project itself stands as a strong case study in digital product and application design.
