Marketing & Social Media Strategist
I’m Vasilis Magoulas, a Creative Director and Graphic Designer with more than twenty years of experience in branding, identity design and visual communication. VAMADESIGN has been my freelance studio since 2004, through which I’ve worked with agencies, startups and international brands across Europe and the US, in sectors such as wellness, beauty, technology and hospitality, helping them build strong identities, improve their position in the market, and communicate in a way that feels clear, accessible and trustworthy.
What matters to me is honest thinking and design that respects its audience. I’ve always believed that branding goes far beyond a logo. It’s about clarity, consistency, communication and the right language for people to understand and trust. This way of thinking has guided my work with global companies, new businesses and founders who needed clarity, structure, a visual language and the right words to express who they are.

AI can support the process, but it can’t replace the thinking, experience, and judgment that a project needs to actually succeed. That’s what I bring to every project: a professional’s eye and human insight that a machine simply cannot provide.
My process is simple and clear. I focus on understanding what a project truly needs, defining what matters most, and shaping a visual direction that works. Experience allows me to guide clients toward the right choices and keep the work focused, useful and honest. People choose me for clarity, consistency and results that feel honest and effective.
I’ve taught Graphic and Web Design at SAEK ALFA (formerly Xyni Educational Group). I’ve been invited to share my work and thoughts in Spain, the UK and Greece. In 2009, I founded the official Greek Designers Community, which has grown into a network of more than 10,000 professionals. I continue to mentor designers and review portfolios.
I genuinely love what I do.
And that still shapes the way I create.
My work has been recognised internationally through awards such as Hiiibrand, Design&Design and HOW Design. I’ve also been selected by bonfx among the Top 15 Elite Graphic Designers & Agencies worldwide, alongside studios like Pentagram and Chermayeff & Geismar. My work has appeared in publications including Creative Review, HarperCollins and Rockport, and I’ve served as a Grand Juror at the A’ Design Awards since 2023.
Outside of design, I write music and lyrics. It’s another part of how I think, feel and create, and something that continues to keep me inspired.
